Hello Everyone!

I just thought I'd let you know how things were going over here at BYU. Im just about to start the third week of our second semester and I love all of my classes so far. I'm taking a Doctrine and Covenants, English for Elementary Education majors, Humanities, Teachings of the Living Prophets, Intro to Special Education Major, Hymns of the Restoration, and American Sign Language Interpreting class. I have learned sooooo much already and am excited for the rest of the semester.

My application to get into the Special Education program here was due on Jan. 16 so I am now waiting to hear what happens with that.

And I just have to say that the benefit concert for the Ceran Family that we went to on Thursday was absolutely FANTASTICALLY AMAZING! All of my favorite LDS artists were there and we got to see some old friends from Liken. What an inspiration that family is to those around them.

I hope all is well. I think about you all lots and lots and love you even more.

A very sweet baby, McCoy Commodore Carlton was blessed 7 Jan 2007 by his father. In attendance were many family members.

2nd Day at Disneyland

We didn't get started quite so early

but we had a great day. It was sunny and clear but rather chilly.

Disneyland

This morning we picked up Aria and Rachel, her friend, at the LB airport at 7:15a. It was off to MacDonald's for breakfast and then on to Disneyland for an early start. It was one of those rare days when Disneyland wasn't very crowded so they got to do most everything that they wanted to for this day. We headed home early as everyone was pretty tired.

A visit from January & Carol

We have had a wonderful week playing with our two older daughters January & Carol who are visiting us this week. We've managed to play a lot of card games, see quite a few movies, spend a day at Disneyland (along with a gazillion other people), drive to San Diego enjoying the beautiful ocean, visiting Derek and his digs and having lunch at Tio Leo's. We've also been to Temecula to see Aimee and then where Erik works and then over to have dinner with Erik, Kristin and the kids. (I have loaded pictures, wonderful pictures but for some reason I can't get them posted. I'll keep trying). :-(
